Religious Education

Our Year 7 students have been working on the unit ‘The Life and Times of Jesus’ where students have learnt how Jesus treated everyone he met with love and inclusion. Jesus cared for everyone, he treated them with respect and quite often spent time with the outcasts of the time such as the poor or the sick. 

Students have recently completed their assessment task where they focused on Australia’s marginalised groups and the organisations that work with them. Students were able to identify the ‘Christ like’ qualities of everyday Australians and how they work within important organisations to serve those in need. 

Some of the organisations that students selected were St Vincent de Paul, Catholic Mission, The Salvation Army, The Red Cross and Caritas. Some photos of Year 7 Presentations have been included.
