Family- Teacher Communication

Email

Email is the preferred method of communication between home and school.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could email us by 8.30 am

-if your child is absent from school (including a brief reason)

-if your child will be leaving early or arriving late

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child, please email us and we will respond via email at our earliest convenience. Alternatively, we are available to speak before school (8:30-8:50am) or after school. Please email us to make a time to meet during these times.

Book Bags

Any communication from school (notes, invoices etc) will be placed inside your child's book bag. Please check this daily for school to home correspondence.

Parent Engagement

We welcome parent and community engagement and please speak to your child's teacher if there are times when you could come in and help or a special skill you could contribute. We always have lots to do!

We are also looking for volunteers to help prepare our weekly reflection journals and our Jolly Phonic booklets. The best time for this is on Friday mornings.

Throughout the year we will be hosting celebrations, special events and going on excursions and will be looking for volunteers.
