Year 9

In this semester, the Year 9 Physi Girls class chose  to focus on AFL and use this sport to learn how to teach others.

At the start of the semester, the class was broken up into three different teams.  During each class we would undergo training, and then two of the teams would play against each other while the third group umpired and facilitated the game and skills session.

Every week in class, one of the groups had to demonstrate and teach a skills session to all the other students. This group also had to run the training session, had to assess individuals skill level and then assign player positions,.  They also had to learn how to umpire an AFL game and give out votes for Best on Ground. Having learned all of these skills,  we are now going to teach a Year 7 class.
