The English Domain have embraced remote learning with enthusiasm.  At present all the year levels are completing work related to their relevant novel which they are studying.  

Teachers are planning and preparing  their courses to meet the needs of the students who are learning from home. This includes preparing PowerPoint presentations outlining the skills required to complete the tasks, liaising with students as they complete comprehension activities, be that via Zoom sessions or with the use of Teams and emails.  Also being recorded are lectures for the Year 10 Novel ‘Lost Property’ which is then uploaded to You Tube.  

This Year the SIS Public Speaking Competition  will be held online, with students submitting their recorded speeches for adjudication to the Debaters Association of Victoria.
