A Few Reminders

CCS Resuming

The Early Childhood Education and Care Relief Package will cease on the 12th of July, 2020.  With the CCS (Childcare Subsidy) resuming as of Monday the 13th of July it is important to remember that accounts will begin to be charged as they were prior to COVID-19.  This means that your child's access to the Service will no longer be free.

I do wish to thank you all as a community for partnering with us during this time to ensure that we were able to continue to offer quality education and care to your children.

Sibling Enrolments

If you are interested in enrolling your child at Curiosity ELC for 2020 or 2021, it is extremely important that you begin conversations with Mrs Pauline Gilroy as we enter into Term 3.  We are experiencing an increase in expressions of interest which is wonderful so it is important that we plan ahead to ensure that we are capable of offering places to all those wishing to join our community.  Please refer all inquiries to Mrs Pauline Gilroy at the school office.

Bags - Labelling Your Child's Bag

It has been fabulous seeing many of our friends small bags being replaced with these larger School Bags.  With the uniformed approach to bags, we have noticed that it has become tricky for our friends to locate their bag at the end of the day.  To assist with this, we would ask that you put a defining name tag or key chain on your child's bag.  Thank you.  

P.S - There are only 2 cheaper priced bags left as of Thursday evening.  So if you still wanted to get one, you might need to make it ASAP.  Bargain price of $20.

Beanies, Scarves and Gloves - Navy Blue

Curiosity falls in line with the school policy on winter additions to the uniform being navy blue (now including white or navy socks).   We will be sending out a survey to gauge the parent communities thoughts on presenting a 'Curiosity Beanie' as an optional item for sale.  With enough interest we may be able to make this possible.

Uniform Shop Hours

Next week is your last chance to get into the Uniform Shop before it closes for the 

Holidays. 

The Shop is open:

Tuesday:  8:00 - 10:30am

Wednesday:  12:30 - 3:30pm

Friday:  1:00pm - 3:30pm

Parents will need to observe social distancing requirements and the use of hand sanitizers please.
