Principal's Report

Dear Parents and Carers,

It was so wonderful to welcome back our Prep to Year 2 students last Tuesday. The Staff gathered at the front of the school with balloons and posters, to welcome back our excited but nervous students. Parents were also very keen to drop their children off and enjoyed our party style welcome back. The passing traffic joined in the celebration with many slowly down and tooting, to share the excitement. We can't wait to see our Year 3-6 students next Tuesday 9 June.

I am so proud of our Staff and the massive efforts that they put in to create such a successful and engaging remote learning experience for your children. The positive feedback has been incredible and greatly appreciated.

I would like to say a HUGE thank-you to all of the parents who have supported us and their children, during the Home Learning period. It is fantastic to see the work that has been completed, photographed and uploaded across the school. I know that this has been a challenge for many parents but we are so grateful for your support.

Congratulations to all of the students who have worked so hard from home. The progress from our students is fantastic. There has been an enormous amount of learning taking place at home.

Congratulations to Chelsea who is a finalist in the Interrelate  "Say NO to Bullying" competition which all students participated in on Harmony Day. This is a wonderful achievement as there were over five thousand entries. Chelsea has been invited to the award ceremony next week and we wish her well.

Annual Report to the Community

The purpose of the Annual Report to the School Community is to inform parents and the wider school community of the school's successes, activities and achievements throughout the year and to meet legislative and regulatory requirements. The 2019 Annual Report to the Community is available on the school website for families to read as well as some hard copies in the office area.

Semester One 2020 Reports

You will be receiving your child's semester report online via the nForma Parent Portal on Tuesday 23 June. Instructions on how to access the nForma Parent Portal will be sent out to email addresses that have been previously supplied to the school. It is very important that you have updated your email addresses, as an automated email containing instructions and login details will come from noreply@nforma.com.au and not the school.

Due to Remote Learning, school reports will look very different to previous years. There will be no scheduled Parent/Teacher/Student Learning Conferences until the end of Term Three but you may make an appointment to see your child's teacher if you wish to discuss any aspect of the report.

Enrolments for 2021

I began Prep enrolment interviews last week for 2021. It is great to meet our future students and their families. If you have a child ready to start Prep in 2021 please ensure that you have your enrolment forms completed and handed in to the Office with their Birth Certificate, Baptism Certificate and Immunisation Certificate.

Please spread the word to your neighbours, family and friends also.

Winter Uniform

Just a reminder that all students should be wearing their full Winter Uniform when attending school. Please see the School Notice Board page for purchasing arrangements through RHS Uniform Shop.

Have a great week!
