Child Safety...

Child Safety Student Team:

Last week the team presented at the School Assembly.  They spent time at school doing a health and safety audit, focussing on the Senior Building and the Playground.

They highlighted the following issues:

•  Need to re paint the non slip paint on the decking, 
•  Solve the issue with water gathering on  the decking causing a slipping hazard
• Ensure the goal post padding is fixed correctly - velcro tabs are coming off

These issues will now be sent to the Staff Child Safety Team who will follow up on these safety issues.

Lunch Time Clubs

Philosophy:

St. Joes recognise the importance that play has for our students.  

We provide engaging lunch time activities every day for our students. 

Some students need help with playing on the yard and with other students.  

The Lunch Time Clubs provides a safe environment for the students to 

play with the guidance of a staff member.
