This has been a busy term for our senior students, Years 10–12, who have had to make some major decisions about career pathways, program / subject choices and selection of VET courses. Careers Practitioners have been booked solid with many career conversations happening all term. If your child would like to speak to a Careers Practitioner simply send a message via TEAMs to the Careers Practitioner in their neighbourhood and they will contact the student with a suitable time.

Our year 12 students have been busy completing their VTAC applications for university courses. It is important that students keep an eye on their accounts for any messages that VTAC may send regarding course preferences, SEAS, scholarships, documents, payments and so on. Upcoming important VTAC dates include:

On Wednesday 14th September it was great to see students attending the presentation from Deakin University during their recess time. Students will gain an understanding of the fundamentals of human rights law and the legal institutional mechanisms, legal principles and legal decisions that provide the framework for all human rights dialogue and practice. You will undertake a specialised suite of units from legal studies, the social sciences and humanities, and philosophy – culminating in a final-year human rights clinic unit, where you will complete an industry placement in the human rights sector. Medicine and Dentistry

NIE is running a workshop for students who have completed the UCAT and have applied for medicine and/dentistry courses for the 2023 intake. The workshop aims for students to gain an in-depth understanding and required knowledge of the medical interview processes for specific universities, including Multi-station Mini Interview (MMI), Structured, and Semi-structured panel interviews. Business Camp

The ASE Group are running an inspirational three day camp for young people (7 – 15 years) who are interested in exploring the world of entrepreneurship and starting their own business.
