Scholarships

Over the last several weeks, as representatives from various universities have presented to the Years 10 to 12 students, each has emphasized the availability of scholarships offered at their institution.

The overwhelming message has been apply, apply, apply.

Scholarships are not just for academic excellence; there are scholarships for specific purposes, for example, funding an overseas exchange or towards the cost of uniforms for a course or for certain types of students, for example, rural or remote. There are many on offer for a variety of reasons, and each year there are scholarship funds left over because students simply do not apply. So the message is, throw your hat in the ring and apply.
