The Term 3 theme for Living Well Learning Well at Sacred Heart is 'Show Awareness for the Safety of Others'. Each week we unpack a Core Value to remind us of the actions and behaviours to uphold in reaching our goals.
Week 8 Core Value is: ''Accept the differences of those around us".
This can be achieved by:
- Students working together with other students and teachers to ensure inclusivity and positivity at school.
- Having a voice about inclusion around the school.
- How is “normal” different?
- How could you make sure you are a kind friend with accepting superpowers?
On Monday the students created their own puzzle with illustrations by identifying the superpowers they have (eg kindness, compassion, empathy) for accepting differences.
