UHS Goes Back in Time

What has happened to our students? Suddenly they are breaking out into random bouts of swordplay on the oval! All of the year 7 students have been participating in an incursion exploring life in Ancient Rome. Some of our students dressed up as Roman Emperors, nobles and peasants while others got to engage in combat in the gladiatorial arena. 

Meanwhile, our year 8 students got a lesson on what it means to be on the sharp end of the sword. Some of our brave young people learned how to use swords in combat, safely of course, and others got to dress up as Kings, Queens, nobles, monks and peasants. 

What an amazing couple of weeks in the Humanities domain.
