Jr Performing Arts Night

On Wednesday 19th October 2022, the Performance Centre was transformed ready for another wonderful, sold-out Junior Performing Arts Night. A night whereby the year 9 and 10 Music, Dance and Drama students all come together and put on spectacular performances. There were devised drama performances on social issues, student composed music pieces, musical theatre dance numbers and so much more. It was brilliant to see the students on stage enjoying performing, and families and friends filling the audience with palpable energy. For those that didn’t snap up a ticket in time the live stream offered the opportunity for an at home audience. Some families even tuned in from interstate and overseas. Below is an account of the night from one of the year 9 Dance students.

"My Junior Performing Arts Night for term 4 was probably one of the best nights I have had at the school so far. Not only did I get to meet so many lovely people in my elective for Dance, but I also got to have so much fun with everyone. The night was run really smoothly and was very well handled as we all got assigned rooms to what our elective was, and we made the most of it by watching other acts before and after us and eating yummy food. I don't know about other people but I really enjoyed the Junior Performing Arts Night for 2022!."
