On Thursday 25th August, MSC hosted Sale College students for the inaugural Golden Satay Interschool Indonesian Challenge. The celebration commenced with a meet and greet during an Indonesian luncheon prior to festivities beginning.
The students competed in Trivia challenges, cracker eating contests and sack races replicating Indonesian Independence Day ‘lomba-lomba’ style celebrations.
After the 3 rounds of competition the Golden Satay trophy was awarded to Maffra Secondary College. We would like to thank the Year 10/11/12 Indonesian students for preparing the luncheon and co-ordinating the events held on the day, Bu Fleur Stone & Nenek Poppy for supporting the day and the Sale College staff Pak Holden and Pak Wytkamp and students for making it a great afternoon.
