Workshop Rescheduled- Five Steps to Ease Your Child's Raging Emotions, Anxiety and Depression

As mentioned earlier in the week, we decided to reschedule this free workshop for parents due to the number of other things that were planned for this week. Please put Wednesday 12th October from 6:30pm on your calendar. This will be a really valuable workshop for lots of parents.

Let's Get Moving

The Let's Get Moving program has been wonderful to have running this week after three years since the program last ran. It was great that so many community members attended this afternoon. Thanks to Alli Watts for her work in running the program for us in 2022. Also, to the COGB for providing a grant so that access to this program was able to be offered at a significantly discounted price for our students. Finally, to the students - you were all AWESOME!

Netbooks over the Holidays

All netbooks for students in Grade 3-6 will remain safely at school over the holiday break.

Super Group Bowling

I am incredibly proud of a program called Super Group, which we have been running at SGPS for the past six years. This program is run by members of our Education Support Team. The program focuses on developing personal and interpersonal skills, including team work, communication, problem solving and life skills.

Last Thursday, they went bowling as a special event. They all had a great time and did an awesome job encouraging and supporting each other.
