In our Garden

Welcome to our garden news this week.  We have been very excited to be able to collect some special seed potatoes from Bendigo Food Share to plant for the Grow a Row initiative.  This program helps out people in need of food by getting local groups and individuals to grow a little extra which they donate back to FoodShare for distribution to those in need.

If you scroll through you'll see our grade 4/5 students weeding, adding compost and planting our potatoes.

Lily and Jade from Grade 6 also helped by cleaning out the chook house and adding the rich straw to our Chook garden potato bed.

Foundation students will be bringing home sunflower seedlings this week.  Check out this website for some tips on how to grow them.  https://www.homestolove.com.au/sunflowers-9804
