Vinnies Winter Appeal - Thank you

A huge thank you to the students, parents and staff for supporting the St Vincent De Paul Winter Appeal on Thursday. Luckily, the weather was a little chilly so we were glad to wear a beanie, scarf or gloves!

Your generosity in donating gold coins and purchasing some items from our Mini Vinnies stall helped us raise $713 for St Vincent de Paul!

When combined with the money donated by generous grandparents on Grandparents Day this term, we have been able to donate $1021.75 to St Vincent De Paul.

A special thanks to our Year 6 Social Justice (Mini Vinnies) team for their time and efforts in creating posters and donating or making items to sell in order to raise money for those less fortunate than ourselves. You really are wonderful examples of faith in action through service to others.

Congratulations to our two winners of the ‘guessing competition’ for correctly guessing the number of stars in the jar - Will G (3M) and Ollie P (6J).

First Holy Communion

Congratulations to the children in Year 3 who made their First Holy Communion last Sunday 11 September with Fr Anthony. A special time for them and their families as they receive the Eucharist for the first time and are nourished in their Faith. Thank you to Mrs Matthews, Mr Matthews, Mrs Greenwood, Mr Walker, Miss O’Donoghue, Mr Aguilera, Mrs Liplyn, Miss Gemmill and Mrs Smith for supporting the students at these masses.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the other Year 3 students as they prepare to make the Sacrament this coming Sunday 18 September at 8.30am and 5.30pm. A reminder to arrive 15 minutes before the commencement of Mass and dress code/wear Sunday Best. God Bless!

All Year 3 students will gather in the school hall next Friday 23 September at 10:30am to celebrate in prayer and enjoy cake together. (Students only)

2022 Sacramental Dates

We pray for and think about all the Year 3 students who are preparing to make their First Holy Communion this term.
