We think it’s fair to say we all need a break from the busy life of Term 3- BUT don’t let the holidays STOP you from trying to raise money for your colour run!\n\n\n\n\n\nWe will be running a competition, over the holidays (September 17th-October 2nd ), where the CLASS THAT COLLECTIVELY RAISES THE MOST MONEY , on return, in sometime in Term 4, will be able to get a TUCKSHOP TREAT AND A ½ day YES DAY!\n\n \n\nWhat is a YES Day ?\n\nIn conjunction with the class teacher and Mr. Brian Grace , and with SET rules, the class will be able to ask for reasonable and child safe activities with the class teacher - saying yes. It may include “can we wear our slippers in class?” YES ! Can we play basketball all afternoon – YES ! Can we have an extra frozen treat at tuckshop -yes! Simple yet FUN!\n\n\n\nWe have been asked many questions so we thought we’d do a quick summary - -\n\n \n\nIs there any other way I can donate money for my child to get a prize?\n\nNO. The prizes are claimed and paid for online with this company. It is part of their system to have this process.\n\n\n\nWill MY CHILD be eligible for a prize if they don’t raise money ?\n\nNO. The minimum amount to raise to be eligible for a prize is $10.\n\n \n\nCan my CHILD participate in the RUN if they haven’t donated ?\n\nNO. There is a cost involved with using the colour, using the company and we do require all students to have made some contribution. What an amazing term it has been. The children have been involved in so many varied learning opportunities, some that unfortunately due to COVID, they have not experienced for the past few years. It was wonderful to see the children enjoy the whole school athletics day as well as different excursions. Like the athletics, the performance this evening will be a first for many of our students. These opportunities provide opportunities for our students to display their vast array of talents. Extra curricular activities such as these simply add to our curriculum. \u003c/p>\u003cp>This term there have also been extra curricular activities for the parents!!! Thank you to the P.A for the trivia night and Fathers Day breakfast. It has been wonderful to bring our community together. There was much excitement mixed in with nerves at the dress rehearsal today. (sneak peek below) The children are looking forward to performing for you this evening. Please refer to the emails your child's classroom teacher has been sending you for further information. As in previous years I ask that if there are any Educational considerations from parents that they please be emailed to myself by the 14th October.
