Dear Parents and Carers

Welcome to the last newsletter for Term 3!!!. What an amazing term it has been. The children have been involved in so many varied learning opportunities, some that unfortunately due to COVID, they have not experienced for the past few years. It was wonderful to see the children enjoy  the whole school athletics day as well as different excursions. Like the athletics, the performance this evening will be a first for many of our students.  These opportunities provide opportunities for our  students to display their vast array of talents.  Extra curricular activities such as these simply add to our curriculum.  

This term there have also been extra curricular activities for the parents!!! Thank  you to the P.A for the trivia night and Fathers Day breakfast. It has been wonderful to bring our community together. We all look forward to the colour run next term.

Performance

Our whole school performance is taking place tonight!!!!! There was much excitement mixed in with nerves at the dress rehearsal today. (sneak peek below) The children are looking forward to performing for you this evening. Please refer to the emails your child's classroom teacher has been sending you for further information.  It will be a wonderful evening.

Performance Pick up

At the end of the evening the children in each year level will be allocated a pick up area. Parents will be directed to those areas at the end of the evening.  Preps will remain on stage to be collected from there. Please see your child's teacher so that every child can be marked as being collected.

If your child/ren are exhausted after tonight's performance a sleep in maybe in need.

Educational  Considerations 2023/ class placements

Planning for 2023  is well underway. As in previous years I ask that if there are any Educational considerations from parents that they please be emailed to myself by the 14th October. Educational considerations are exactly what the name states. They are considerations that add to the information that the teachers already have on a child when deciding where to place them for the following year. 

There is a lot of time and thought that goes into the placement of each child each year.

Term 3 Finish
