P-2 Bendigo Excursion

On Wednesday our P-2 students enjoyed an excursion to Bendigo! Despite the rainy weather everyone had a great day. We started our day off at Bendigo Science Works. The students were spilt into two groups. Group A started off in the Discovery Centre with our 100 different kinds of exhibits including; the mirror maze and the vertical slide where our students defied gravity! Group B began their visit in a robotics workshop with a trained science explainer. During this workshop the students were able to program their very own robots, once group B were finished up with their robots they headed to the Planetarium to explore the wonders of astronomy and the sky above. 

After group A and B did a switch of activties we finished up at Scieneworks and headed straight for bowling. The students all played a game each. After and few strikes and spares we headed back to school.
