Book Fair 2022
The theme of our 2022 Scholastic Book Fair was Paws for Books.
What an amazing turnout for this year's Book Fair!
We made an amazing $2,793.79! That has earnt the school a great amount of money to buy new books for the students here at LNPS to enjoy!

Book Series of the Week
Every week in the Tirkandi a new series will be on display to help expose students to all different kinds of books.
Week one had the hilarious series Fart Boy. While week 2 has the sporty series Tiny Timmy.
Scholastic Book Club Orders
Issue 7 is out now.
Students should have received or will be receiving issue 7 very soon.

Premier's Reading Challenge
The Premier's Reading Challenge is Closed.
Borrowing
Reception - Can borrow 4 books
Years 1, 2, 3, 4 - Can borrow 8 books
Years 5 and 6 - Can borrow 10 books
Parents – Can borrow up to 10 books
Books can be kept for a maximum of 2 weeks. All that is required for borrowing is a library bag (for Reception, Year 1/2) and no overdue books. Students are encouraged to manage their own library bags and to borrow regularly.
Returns
Students can either place books they want to return in their classroom library box or directly into the green returns box in Tirkandi.
Overdue, Lost or Damaged Books
The school library policy for overdue, lost or damaged books is as followed. For a library book that has been overdue / lost for 2 weeks or more or returned damaged, there will be a fee of $15. However, if the book is found or returned you will be reimbursed the full amount. Students will be unable to borrow until the book(s) are returned or the payment is made. The money goes towards replacing that book.
