National Bandanna Day

Friday 28th October marks National Bandanna Day. Bandanna Day is the flagship fundraising and awareness campaign for CanTeen Australia which raise funds to support young people whose lives have been affected by cancer. LNPS will once again be selling bandannas to raise money for CanTeen Australia and we encourage the LNPS community to help us support CanTeen in their important work.

Senior students will be selling bandannas in the office before school and during recess until Friday, 28th October - unless sold out beforehand. The bandanas cost $5 each and there are many different designs to choose from.

So far we have raised $595. Well done everyone!

By joining the movement you can stand up to cancer!

Hats

Just a reminder all students need a broad-brimmed hat for outside activities. We recommend writing your child’s name clearly onto their hat to increase the likelihood that it is returned to them if lost. They will need their hat for P.E lessons and for play times. The ‘NO HAT, NO PLAY’ rule is in place all year and students without a hat can only play or sit in the sheltered areas. School hats are available from the Uniform Shop for $15 in sports day colours.
