St Peter’s On Show

Each year the developers of Schoolbox arrange a two day Conference for all Allarus users to highlight best practise in the use of the College Learning Management System - Schoolbox

This year Daniel Green, our Year 9 Learning Leader was one of the many inspirational guest speakers. Dan spoke about St Peter’s EXPAND9 Program and the active engagement of students in their own learning. Congratulations to Dan and the Year 9 team who are providing real word experiences for our students and developing 21 century skills of creativity, collaboration and communication.

Casey Technical College Partnership

 Last week our first group of students attended the emersion program at Casey Technical College. Technical Colleges have been established throughout Victoria to promote a variety of different key learning areas. Our local Casey Technical College specialises in STEM technology and offers students the opportunity to be involved in solving real world problems  in collaboration with other local students. This has led to amazing ideas and solutions  from the Partner schools, resulting in innovative solutions and improved communication and collaboration skills in our students. Once again the St Peter’s Year 9  Program is taking students out of the traditional classroom and developing skills to equip our students to face the future with confidence.
