District Cross Country, Edwardes Lake

On Wednesday 10th May, 14 students from St Joseph the Worker Primary competed at the Keon District Cross Country at Edwardes Lake. 

Weather: cold, slight drizzle

Course Condition: Flat cement path with patches of hilly grassed areas.

Students displayed such wonderful sportsmanship and each gave their best efforts on the day.  Each student said that they were proud of how they ran their race and put it together, regardless of the result. 

We are all very proud of you for this attitude students, congratulations!

Matthew U10 Boys: 1st

Olivia U11 Girls: 3rd 

Joseph U11 Boys: 3rd

Hari U12 Boys: 4th

Christian U12 Boys: 5th

Bronson U11 Boys: 5th 

Isaac U10 Boys: 5th 

Paul U11 Boys: 10th 

Anthony U 10 Boys: 11th 

Isaiah U11 Boys: 13th 

Alexia U10 Girls: 13th 

Isabella U11 Girls: 23rd 

Amelia U10 Girls: 25th 

Leila U10 Girls: 26th 

Further Congratulations to Matthew, Olivia, Joseph, Hari, Christian, Bronson, Isaac and Paul for also securing a spot at the Division race at Bundoora Park in the coming weeks.
