Grandparents & Family Mass and Morning Tea

Thank you to all parents and family members who celebrated grandparents' morning and Mass with us on Wednesday. It was wonderful to see so many of you. We hope you enjoyed the morning. 

Well done to the 1/2 students for leading the Mass, you all read so well and made us all very proud. 

Family is essential

Family Week (Also National Career Week)

Family Week 2023 is next week, 15 – 19 May.

Family Week is a time to reflect on the vital role that families play in our lives and in our communi-ties. It is a time to celebrate and strengthen family relationships.

This year’s theme is “Circle of Inclusion”. It calls us to recognize that every family is unique, and that family can include more than just those who are biologically related to us. Family can be those with-in our inner circle, our closest friends, and loved ones.

A Prayer for families and grandparents

Loving God,

Bless all families, grandparents and special people in the lives of these children.

Those gathered with us yesterday, those who could not be with us and those who have gone to be with you.

May they listen to your call to share their wisdom and faith with us.

May they have courage and confidence to hand on your gifts of experience and

knowledge, of stories, songs and memories.

May they continue to learn and grow with us day by day.

Bless them with length of days and joy at the last.

We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.
