Congratulations to all our competing students at the District Cross Country last Friday. It was great to see them putting in the effort for our school over the 2km or 3km distance. We are very proud of where all our students came with the student below excelling on the day. Overall our school came 7th amongst the Rowville District.

Parent Helpers

Our school would like to offer the opportunity for parents to volunteer with coaching or supporting a team for the Winter Sports competition. Our students in their teams always appreciate the expertise provided by our coaching parent volunteers and our teams have been even more successful with their support.

We require the following volunteers to on both Friday 26th May and Friday 16th June:

Some knowledge of the rules of the sport would be beneficial but mainly a coaching role will involve instructing and encouraging the team while rotating the substitutions fairly. If you are able to support us in one of these volunteer roles, please select our interest in the Operoo permission form or email Mr Karl Camerino at karl.camerino@ssrowville.catholic.edu.au

If you know of someone who has expressed an interest in supporting us, please also email Karl Camerino of their intention to volunteer in one of the above roles. A reminder that all volunteers need to have their Working with Children Check and sign the school’s volunteer documents at the school office.

Knox Rebel Sport Community Partnership with St Simons

Knox Rebel Sport has been a wonderful sponsor of our school in the past and this year. All purchases at this store by parents of the St Simon’s school community provide our school with store credits. These credits are used to provide the school with sporting equipment for sporting activities.

We highly recommend that the next time you visit or purchase an item from Rebel Sport in Knox, ask how to earn credits for our school. Thank you all for your support of our school through our Knox Rebel Sport Community partnership.
