The foundation students loved exploring some of the new art materials this week. We have been studying the book, "Into the Ocean" by Jordana Marshall and Caroline Thomas, which is about a mask, left on the ground, that makes its way into the ocean. Students explored the damage rubbish can do to ocean animals and were inspired by the beautiful illustrations to create a colourful underwater world using the new slick sticks. They then coloured, cut and pasted some ocean animals on top. They had a ball! You can see their creations on display in the learning street.
