Principal's Report

Dear families,

EASTER RAFFLE

This year the JSC will hold the annual Easter Raffle. We are kindly asking for donations to help make this a great success. Donations can be left in the basket near office.  Money raised from this raffle will see a contribution made to the Good Friday Easter appeal. Tickets are available on Qkr!  now for $1 each. Purchase of tickets will close on the 4th of April and will be drawn at the final assembly on April the 6th.

PARENT/TEACHER/STUDENT MEETINGS

Parent Teacher / Student Meetings will be held in the second week of Term 2. Please log in via the School Interview link which will be sent out tomorrow.  Please note Miss Maskell will be conducting her meetings in the first week of Term 2 due to Long Service Leave in Week 2.

As Amee will commence her family leave in Term 2 there will not be interviews for this Grade. Amee will provide a brief report to parents on their child’s progress via a phone call next week.

In 2024, Toolamba Primary school is turning 150 years old. In the lead up to these celebrations, our community would love to read about past and present students of the school. Ideally, a current student is to interview a past student (they do not need to be related) and return typed answers to hello@toolamba.com.au

Profiles will be published on the Toolamba website www.toolamba.com.au and school newsletter.

SCHOOL COUNCIL AGM

Our Annual Report was presented at School Council on Monday night. We are very proud of our achievements in 2022, certainly a cause for celebration. A copy of our Annual Report will be available on our website. As you can see our data sets have remained consistently strong over a four-year period.

Sadly, we farewell three long standing members of our school council Kevin Moran, Kristy Thomas and Mark Turner. All three have made valuable contributions to our school community and have been an amazing support to me personally. Their expertise will be greatly missed.

On a brighter note, we welcome Jade Golightly to our school council. Congratulations go to our new office bearers for 2023:

President.             Simon Robinson

Vice President     Justin Young

Secretary              Craig Thompson

Treasurer              Carly Tuhan
