Year 12 Students 2013
VCAA Statement of Results Certificate and Yearbooks will be available for collection from February 9am – 3pm at the Senior Office.
Please make the time to come in to collect your important items.
School Bags = School Uniform
All students are expected to carry school bags as part of their school uniform. Regulation school bags are available from the Uniform Shop. Please be aware that not carrying a FHS school bag indicates that the student is out of school uniform and as a result, out of uniform consequences will apply.

Casting Call!
Are you new to the school and disappointed to have missed out on audition for this year’s production of ‘Seussical’? NEVER FEAR! We still have plenty of spaces available for new students from Years 7 - 12.
If you’re interested in being involved, either onstage or backstage, please see Miss Vidotto in Room 20 at recess on Tuesday, 11 February to hear more and collect forms.
Student Insurance
Parents are reminded that DEECD and Frankston High School do not provide personal accident insurance for students. Parents and guardians are responsible for the cost of medical treatment for injured students, including transport costs.
Student accident insurance policies are available for purchase through JUA Underwriting (ph 9909 7480).
Parents are also reminded that DEECD and Frankston High School do not provide insurance for personal possessions of any description, including motor vehicles, for damage or theft at school or on the school grounds.
2013 Yearbooks
If you have not received your 2013 Yearbook, please collect your copy from the General Office.
90th Anniversary
Frankston High School will be celebrating its 90th Anniversary on Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 October 2014.
We are searching for past students and staff in the lead up to the event for copies of old photos, memorabilia and stories and to also join us in the celebrations.

Volunteers Needed for Senior Canteen
Volunteers are urgently needed to help at the Senior Canteen from 10am-1:30pm on any day Monday - Friday this year.
A Working with Children Check and a Food Handling Certificate is required. For further enquiries, please contact Martina Woolnough on 0404 703 443.
(The school will cover the cost of the Food Handling Certificate. Working with Children Checks are free of charge to volunteers.)
VCE Students Travelling on Concession
If you are a student aged 17 and over, you must carry a valid concession card.
A school identification card does not entitle students aged 17 years and over to buy concession fares.
A VPT (Victorian Public Transport) concession card is a valid concession card for students aged 17 years and over.
Forms are available at the Senior Office or Online at http://ptv.vic.gov.au/fares-tickets/concessions/students/#1 and must be applied for at the train station.

Note: Children aged 16 years and under do not need a concession card to travel on a concession fare.
You must carry a valid concession card at all times when travelling on a concession ticket. If you don't, your concession ticket is invalid for travel and you could receive an infringement.
