Year 8 Regional Baseball

The year 8 boys baseball team travelled to Mill park to compete in the School Sport Victoria Regional Competition. The boys started the day with a cracking game against University High school going on to win by 5 runs. In their 2nd game the boys went very close to beating St Helena with the game ending 6-5. The last two games saw the boys dig deep against two schools who had some really quality players and proved to be too good. Throughout the day the team had great enthusiasm and continued to motivate and cheer each other on for every game. All round there was some great baseball played with several of the players backing each other up in the outfield to run out our opponents. Great effort all round!
