OFF YOUR BACK - WINTER COAT DRIVE
As temperatures continue to fall across Victoria and as we head deeper into winter, will you take the coat off your back? Over 115,000 homeless Australians will be freezing through a cold winter and they need our help! MPS is supporting OFF YOUR BACK and collecting preloved jackets and coats for homeless children and adults. Last year we collected over 70 coats!
For over 20 years the OFF YOUR BACK winter coat drive has helped those in need keep warm each winter. Around 150,000 great quality, preloved, coats have been collected from the community and redistributed without raising or spending one cent of money.
So before we break for the holidays, take a look in those cupboards, if you have any coats that are too small or that just don’t get worn these days, donate it, and help keep a homeless person warm this winter!
