School Council Meetings

Our next School Council meeting will be held on Wednesday 21st June @ 7.30pm 

The dates of the next Committee meetings are as follows:

Parent Association:  Wednesday 14th June @ 7.15pm (Bree Stevens and Cherie Paterson)

Finance: Monday 19th June @ 6.30pm (Vicky Cai)

Education & Policy: Tuesday 20th June @ 7.00pm  (Cadell Duke & Ben Parker) - Parent Forum on our Inclusion Program

All committees and School Council meet in the staff room, unless otherwise advised by the convener.

Please contact the office if you would like to join any of the committees so your details can be passed on to the convenor.

Thanks to you all, our wonderful community, that supported the MND fundraising. Incredible community response.  Thanks to the teachers for taking it on and creating alot of interest and fun. I,  for one,  enjoyed getting to school early to see teachers getting iced for a great cause. It seemed to thrill and delight the school children and the parents!

I have been on MPS Council since 2017 and  this is my 4th year as President. The covid lock down years were full of distractions dealing with unprecedented challenges. That behind us, it's wonderful to look forward and focus on projects and programs that enable each student to thrive.  Mum of 2 children, Olive graduated from MPS in 2021 and Will in his last year- time has flown. Professionally, my area of expertise is male reproduction as an academic research scientist and  I also held numerous leadership roles across the health sector including pounding the political pavement in Canberra for 2 decades to improve healthcare. In my 'spare' time, I love to run  and the kids and I love to hang out at our sanctuary for animals on the Mornington Peninsula.
