2024 Production

The production cast and crew have been working hard behind the scenes to get ready for this year’s show!

Our cast have been rehearsing twice a week to master all their choreography, singing and blocking, and their hard work is paying off, with their performances looking spectacular so far. Our production band have been furiously studying the musical’s famous soundtrack, including iconic songs like ‘All That Jazz’, ‘Razzle Dazzle’ and ‘Cell Block Tango’. Our tech team have also been furiously learning all about lighting and sound in preparation to run all of the tech during the show, which is not an easy feat!

The production prop and set team have been hard at work constructing our backdrop, extensively bedazzled props and set, and are so excited for everyone to see their mastery. Students have been painting the flats to look like curtains, crafting clam shell lights and building arches from scratch, and everything looks amazing so far. A full stage has already been installed and it has completely transformed the theatre (thank you to Dion, Darren and Paul for all their help with construction!)

Our costume team are also concentrating on bringing fantastic looks to the stage by stamping newspaper print, making jumpsuits and bedazzling fans to be used by the cast, and our hair and make-up team are gearing up to begin supporting our cast and crew through the shows!

The show will run for 6 performances in the school theatre:

· August 11th - Friday evening - 7:30 pm to 10 pm

· August 12th - Saturday evening - 7:30 pm to 10 pm

· August 13th - Sunday matinee - 2 pm to 4:30 pm

· August 17th - Thursday evening - 7:30 pm to 10 pm

· August 18th - Friday evening - 7:30 pm to 10 pm

· August 19th - Saturday evening - 7:30 pm to 10 pm
