Visit to Highvale Primary School

On Tuesday 20th of June, Year 9 and 10 Highvale Secondary College students studying Child Development visited Highvale Primary School. Our aim was to run some activities for the kids and get a better understanding as to what we had learnt in class. I think our class had definitely achieved this and more, as we had built strong connections and bonds with the kids while also having lots of fun.

Our class ran a variety of activities with the Preps which consisted of musical chairs, drawing, card games, memory games and making chatterboxes. We enjoyed our time with the Preps, getting to interact with them and chatting to them.  By delivering these activities we also learnt about their physical, intellectual, emotional and social development.
