OSHC at Marion

At Marion OSHC we are committed to providing quality learning opportunities, delivered in a safe, secure and stimulating environment.

The children have been having fun making bookmarks, creating ferocious faces art, block construction, playing the ring toss game, making stick snakes as well as activities on pupil free day including a nature scavenger hunt, gym games and bingo fun. Outdoor play on pupil free day was a nature walk around the oval. This week’s program includes reminders about sustainability e.g. make sure taps are turned off after hand washing, NAIDOC week activity of handprints, cooking weetbix balls, fireworks craft, killer pythons craft, line chasey game, oval games and pop stick craft. children have been having fun with hand tennis. 

The July Vacation Care Program pack is available in the OSHC room, Front Office and on the school website.  One of our incursions will be Gaming Party Hire with the package including PS5, PS4 and Nintendo switch consoles with games and Virtual reality game and movie. Spaces are available to book into OSHC and the July Vacation Care Program. To book please phone or email the above contacts.

Parents are welcome to offer suggestions for programming ideas and to participate on our OSHC committee which meets twice a term. Being a member of this committee gives families the opportunity to have even more input into the program and if anyone is interested in becoming involved, please come and talk to Guy or myself. 

Most families are entitled to Child Care Subsidy so please apply to Centrelink to see if you are eligible. Subsidy is applied to all fees including the additional ones for excursions and Incursions.

The following fees are without subsidy applied and are per child:

Before School Care:  $16.00         After School Care:  $26.00

Pupil Free Day:  $54.00                  Vacation Care:  $54       

Incursion Extra: $20.00                  Excursion:  $30.00
