  • NEW games for the quiet area outside the year 3/4 classrooms – THANK YOU Mrs McLeary!!!

Please keep in the tubs and pack away at each break.

  • Clubs are running every day so please remind your class and check the timetable
  • Caught being good - keep up the great effort!
  • Making sure we continue to keep our school environment clean and tidy - encouraging students to take responsibility for their own area -
  • SRC meeting can be at any time of the week and senior students can come to run the Prep and 1/2 meetings

What can we improve on this week:

Noise levels in class

Walking from specialist classes

 

Remind each other to use quiet working voices for learning

Depending on the activity - such as group work and sharing

Walking quietly to and from each class so we don’t disturb others classes and the office staff

Year 5/6 Soccer has been suspended for today 

Soccer will start tomorrow with all students being included in the game - good sportsmanship and accepting the referees decision.

The game is for everyone to enjoy playing and encouraging fair play - not be over competitive

Sports shed  It is great that the sports equipment is being borrowed regularly so please return as soon as the bell sounds
   

SRC Representative ACTIONS for this week

School Leaders and SRC  will be looking out for students ‘Caught Being Good’.

They will  be nominating students who are responsible, respectful and ready to learn. 

Discuss what these qualities look like.

Respectful - listening, waiting turn, walking through corridor quietly, greeting/speaking to people politely

Responsible - throwing rubbish in the bin, picking up rubbish, returning sports equipment, helping others, kindness

Ready to Learn - listening to the speaker, having materials ready for learning, being on time in class or at school.
