What is the best thing about working at Kismet Park?

The best thing about working at Kismet Park is seeing the children reach goals and succeed in their learning.

Do you have a favourite author/book? Why is it your favourite?  

There's a Hippopotamus on Our Roof Eating Cake. By Hazel Edwards because I love Hippopotamuses and cake.

What are your hobbies?

Calisthenics, I started when I was 4 years old and always loved it so after quite a few years off I have gone back.

If you could only eat 1 meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? 

Cake, so many different types and flavours, My favourite is chocolate ripple cake. 

If you were a superhero, what powers would you have?

Teleportation!! Because you can go anywhere at any time without any restrictions.

What is the best thing about working at Kismet Park?

Each day brings something different & building relationships with students and teachers. 

Do you have a favourite author/book? Why is it your favourite?

My favourite book is To kill a mockingbird, it was one I read at high school and really enjoyed. 

What are your hobbies?

Hobbies are driving my kids to all of their sports and activities, no, seriously I play volleyball and like to bake. 

If you could only eat 1 meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Favourite food is Japanese

If you were a superhero, what powers would you have? 

Superpowers would be to allow more time in the day when I needed it.

What is the best thing about working at Kismet Park?

I love seeing those amazing moments when the students succeed at something that had been hard for them. And, of course, the fabulous teachers and ES staff I get to work with everyday.

Do you have a favourite author/book? Why is it your favourite?

Lord of the Rings and Hairy Maclary from Donaldson's Dairy. The first because I love the idea that gentle Hobbits can be heroes. The second because it was the book my eldest asked for every night as a toddler. I can still remember it word for word.

What are your hobbies? 

Reading and travelling - sometimes I combine the two.

If you could only eat 1 meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Chicken Parma with chips

If you were a superhero, what powers would you have? 

To be able to blink like "I Dream of Jeannie" and all the boring chores would be done so there is more time for the fun stuff.

What is the best thing about working at Kismet Park?

The best thing about working at kismet park is the great teachers and Students I work with every day. 

Do you have a favourite author/book? 

My  favourite book is fish out of water.

Why is it your favourite?

Because when I was young i thought when I got a pet fish I could feed it to much and it would grow really big, just like in the story. 

What are your hobbies?

I like fishing and going camping and sit by a fire. 

If you could only eat 1 meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Thai green curry.

If you were a superhero, what powers would you have? 

To be invisible and be able to fly.

What is the best thing about working at Kismet Park?

Working with the kids and seeing them grow and become independent and strong students. Working along a great team and supporting one another. 

Do you have a favourite author/book?  Why is it your favourite?

My favourite book is Wonder because it shows and accepts all kinds of people. 

What are your hobbies?

My hobbies are travelling and spending time with my family. 

If you could only eat 1 meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

My all time favourite meal is pasta. I could eat it every day! 

If you were a superhero, what powers would you have? 

If I was a super hero, my powers would be strength....so I could share with kids!

What is the best thing about working at Kismet Park? 

Being able to help students with their learning and working with a great team of teachers and Education Support Staff.

Do you have a favourite author/book? Why is it your favourite? 

My favourite book is Eragon. I love fantasy stories about dragons and this is by far the best dragon book I have ever read.

What are your hobbies? 

I like reading, snow skiing, fishing and going for walks with my dog.

If you could only eat 1 meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? 

Pad Thai or Schnitzel, hard to decide.

If you were a superhero, what powers would you have? 

Taking away pain.

What is the best thing about working at Kismet Park?

The best thing about working at Kismet Park is seeing students grow and flourish, seeing them start school and eventually graduate having been fortunate enough to play a small part in helping them achieve milestones and successes along the way.

Do you have a favourite author/book? Why is it your favourite?

My favourite author is Dr Seuss because he is so creative and imaginative.

What are your hobbies?

My hobbies are completing jigsaws and travelling.

If you could only eat 1 meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

If I could only eat one food for the rest of my life it would probably be cherries.

If you were a superhero, what powers would you have? 

If I had a super power I would like it to be the power to make people happy. How wonderful would the world be if everyone was happy?
