Student Leader's Report
Hello everyone hope you have been enjoying your week. A few things have happened recently and some exciting events are coming up.
Last week there was the 3 way conferences for all year levels, this gave the parents and teachers a chance to talk about the students learning and for the students to show their work to their parents.
Last week we also had the grade 5/6s walk down to the lawn bowls club and learn how to play lawn bowls, we did this because we have the summer sports competition coming up, and so the students can learn how to play lawn bowls so that maybe they can choose that as their sport.
We have some very exciting news! On Tuesday the 26th both the mixed and the girls team went to netball, the mixed team sadly only just didn’t make it but still came second and did an amazing job, the girls made it to the next round and we are very excited! 🏐
150 indigenous trees and shrubs were donated and are being planted on Friday the 29th. In music, the year 6’s will be painting on the new street pianos to leave their mark at the school.
The year 4’s completed their swimming program last week and the 5/6’s will be going to swimming all of next week.
👖 Jeans for Genes Day is coming up next Friday, you will need a gold coin donation if you would like to dress up, it is a casual clothes day so you can wear a shirt of choice but please wear a pair of jeans that day.
