Book Week next week 20th - 26th August 2022
The Children’s Book Council of Australia celebrates Book Week next week 20th - 26th August 2022. The Resource Centre is participating with a display of new books which is being collated to celebrate this very special week that will reflect a wide range of genres with particular reference to the Book Week theme “Dreaming with Eyes Open…”
The theme is very reflective of our natural environment and provides us with a lot of scope to reflect our Indigenous culture. In keeping with the theme, a display of Indigenous cultural items and books by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander authors will form the centre piece of the Resource Centre display. New books will also be included in the display for students to select to read and for them to borrow.
