A MILLION DREAMS FOR JAS FUNDRAISER

Several members of our community are helping to raise funds for 14-year-old local Trigg girl Jasmine McGough who was seriously injured in an accident on a recent family holiday. Family and friends have organised a fundraising event on Friday 19 August at North Beach Football Club to help raise funds for the necessary resources required for Jasmine to have ongoing, long-term care and extensive rehabilitation. Information about Jasmine and the event is available below.

LOOKING FOR TEENTREPRENEURS

Are you, or do you know of, a teen who has started a business? Past student Naomi Box is

planning a market stall event from Saturday 1 October - Sunday 2 October at the Swan Settlers Markets' Function Room to promote up and coming teentrepreneurs aged 13 up to 19.

There is no cost involved to stall holders and is a great opportunity to promote their business. This opportunity is open to a wide variety of businesses, including handmade items and services including gardening and dog walking.

A parent or guardian will have to stay at the stall with any teen under the age of 15 during the event, however it will be encouraged that the teen does the promoting and selling of their products.

Please email Naomi at info@swansettlersmarket.com.au if you are interested in running a stall, including information on what you will be promoting or selling.
