YEAR 12 ECONOMICS ATAR EXCURSION

Last Friday, five high performing Year 12 Economics ATAR students, chosen based on their engagement and performance in class, were invited to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA (CCIWA) Student Economic Forum. Meaghan Emery (Trinity), Liam Draper (Barlow), Adam Lewis (Normandy), Alana Sabatino (Carden) and Cara Sheppard (Barlow) listened to presentations from key WA Economists from CCIWA and the Economics Chief Marker and debated current Australian economic performance and issues with other top performing students from various Perth schools.

It is quite an honour for these students to be selected to attend the CCIWA Student Economic Forum event. They have debated and collaborated well with their peers from other schools and will have a chance to discuss best practice for their upcoming exams, as well as further education and employment opportunities in the Economics space.
