WORLD SCHOLAR'S CUP COMPETITION

This is a final call for those students interested in putting a team together or joining a World Scholar's Cup team for 2022. The World Scholar's Cup is one of the most academically demanding competitions we enter, but it is also the most rewarding and fun. As a summary, the details of the competition are as follows:

• Dates of competition: Friday 21 October - Saturday 22 October
• Venue: Aquinas College
• Cost: $50
• What: Students involved study an unusual curriculum and join in teams of three. Throughout the day, teams compete in three debates, write an essay, answer 120 multi-choice questions and participate in a Kahoot! style quiz. It is a great opportunity to meet lots of students from other schools. Students are awarded with plush alpacas, medals and trophies.
• How: Students register as a team of three. I am able to help students find a team if they cannot find two others. 

Entries for the competition are due on Monday, so please ask your child to email me ASAP at tatherton@sacredheart.wa.edu.au if they are interested.
