Inspiring architecture

Local architect and NHS parent Mark Meaden visited our Year 12 Visual Communication Design class last Thursday, and presented one of his architectural projects to our students, covering the entire design process. It was hugely beneficial  for the students to see how a professional designer approaches a design brief. He also brought in some of his drawings and models that no doubt inspired some students to consider architecture as a future profession.

We think parents visiting school to share skills such as Mark’s only strengthens the teaching, learning and cultural connections between students, parents and teachers.
