Dinner Dance
“Dinner Dance” Drinks and Dinner for Parents (of students in Years 10, 11 &12)
As our Year 10, 11 and 12 students excitedly head off to their Dinner Dance on Saturday 15 May, we’d like to extend an invitation to ALL Parents and Friends who will be “filling in time” to do “pick up” to attend “Drinks and or Dinner” at the Roxburgh Café (64 Thompson Street, Hamilton) from 7:00pm. Animal farm by George Orwell is an allegory of the events of the Russian Revolution of 1917. It deals with the ideas of freedom, rebellion and the corrupting nature of power. The animals get fed up of their master, Farmer Jones, so they kick him out. Once they are free of the tyrant Jones, life on the farm is good for a while and there is hope for a happier future of less work, better education and more food. What will come of the animals…..
