This Week's Updates

Dear Families,

This week’s updates contain a few pieces of important information

ECSI Surveys

Thank you to the two families who have completed the surveys so far. We only have 98 families to go to reach 100. Ideally all families would complete the surveys which take approximately 40 minutes to complete.

This year, our St.James community is scheduled to undertake the Enhancing Catholic School Identity (ECSI) survey.  These surveys were developed by the Catholic University of Leuven and are administered across all Catholic schools in our Archdiocese.  The survey is completed online by Year 5 and 6 students, parents, staff and school leaders.  These surveys enable us to better understand how our Catholic identity is expressed in work and practice and how we can support and further develop this in the future.

We are requesting your assistance in completing the survey online.  It will take approximately 40 minutes to 1 hour to complete and you are asked to answer intuitively, trying not to get caught up in the answers.  Your answers to this survey are kept anonymous and by keeping a record of your individual user code and password, you will be able to complete the survey in more than one session.  It is crucial that we have parents complete this survey so that we can collate a wider range of data to assist us in future planning.

Instructions for survey completion:

1.Access the survey at:                 www.ecsi.site/au/user

2. Enter the case sensitive password Ghj654 and click login

3. If you are a new user: Click the New User button

If you wish to continue a previous session: Enter your User-ID and Password

4. Enter our school's Survey Access Code - F46648 - so that your input will be linked to our school.

5. You are now logged in.  Displayed on the screen is your unique User-ID and Password (case sensitive).  Save this information (write, print or email it) to access the website at a later time.

6. From this point forward, please follow the on-screen instructions to complete the surveys.

We sincerely thank you for your time and assistance with the survey completion.  Please ensure that it is completed by Friday 21st May.

If you would like to complete the survey with some company and a cuppa, you are welcome to meet Mrs.D (Cathy) in the library at 9.00am on a Wednesday morning after school drop off.  Plus, if you email Dave to let him know that you have completed the survey, your child will receive a ‘treat’ as a token of our appreciation!

Grandparents Day

We are very excited about this Friday's Grandparents Day. Please remember and understand that we need to follow some COVID safe practices. The main issue here is restricting the number of people (adults and children) in each room.
