College Chaplain

Friends,

PEACE BE WITH YOU.

It was the first words that the risen Lord said to his disciples after he had risen from death. I want to say this to you all too:

THE PEACE OF THE LORD BE WITH YOU ALWAYS.

I hope you had a great experience and celebration of Easter with your family and community of faith. I also hope that you had a great EASTER break.

We have begun the second term for two weeks. I am excited to come back to see you all and walk with you all on the journey of faith.

This term I will start to visit classes and have a great opportunity to celebrate the Holy Mass again with some classes each week. Moreover, during lunch break on Wednesday, I will expose the Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist in the Chapel for Adoration.

PLAYING TIME - PRAYING TIME.

Do you have 5 minutes during lunch break to visit the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist?

I will be available to pray with you privately. The sacrament of reconciliation will also be available for students and staff if you want to receive Holy Communion in a state of grace.

Jesus says, "I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me, with me in him, bears fruit in plenty; for cut off from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5)

Where should we go to find the truth? Remember the motto of Marian College, "THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE."

Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.” (John 6:68).

Come and see. Come and talk to your heavenly Father and Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

The month of May is dedicated to our Blessed Virgin Mary, our Patroness and Mother. Let us ask her to intercede for each one of us and our family.

Pope Francis also invites us to join him praying for our brothers and sisters in Christ in India and for end to Covid-19 pandemic.

We fly to your protection,O Holy Mother of God;Do not despise our petitionsin our necessities, but deliver us alwaysfrom every danger,O Glorious and Blessed Virgin. Amen.

God Bless

Fr Paul
