Kinross Wolaroi School Cricket Club (KWSCC) is pleased to be planning for a regular season, playing in the BOIDC, ODCA and ODJCA competitions. Season 2020/21 registrations are now available at playcricket.com.au. Search for ‘Kinross Wolaroi’ and register for the appropriate competition as listed.
As part of the Cricket Australia ‘Return to Train & Play’ framework, parents/guardians and students/players are encouraged to become familiar with cricket specific guidelines. In particular, there is to be no sharing of equipment (including pads, gloves, helmets and protectors). In the first instance KWSCC wishes to encourage participation and will implement the ‘KWSCC Gear Library’, to loan equipment for the season. At the season start, please see MIC Mr Ronald to loan required equipment. The ‘Return to Train & Play’ framework can be found here: www.community.cricket.com.au/clubs/covid-19
KWS white cricket shirt with number (available at school shop), white cricket pants, KWS hat or white broad-brimmed hat, white cricket vest/jumper.
Players are encouraged to sign-up to TeamApp ‘KWS Cricket’ to keep up-to-date with any changes to the schedule below.
KWSCC participates in the ODCA Centenary Cup competition, providing committed parents/carers with the opportunity to play with their sons/daughters. Generally KWS has two teams and up to three parents may play on any given Saturday afternoon in each team. Depending on ability and interest, student players are usually in Year 9 or 10 and play their morning Junior games as well, with Centenary Cup usually a stepping stone to 1st and 2nd XI cricket. Please contact MIC Mr Ronald (bronald@kws.nsw.edu.au) if you are interested in playing this season.
