Father's Day

We hope the dads, step dads, pa's, grandad's, uncles, brothers and male guardian's in our students families enjoyed a very special day last Sunday!
We also thought it would be great for everyone to see all the entries we had for our Father's day competition, and the wonderful things that each child that entered wrote about their dad.
There were 3 winners who each received a Bunnings Voucher to buy themselves something handy!
Jordan wrote - my loving dad spends time with me playing, helping me do my schoolwork and teaches me to fix and build things around the house and outside. He is fun, loving, kind and sometimes crazy! I love him very much!
Ashlee and Shayla wrote - he works hard to support the family, is funny and is a great cook.
Celeste wrote - he is my dad and I love him so much, he is the best dad ever

Hayley Wyngaard - He loves me and cares for me he also believes in me and gives me cuddles. He also helps me improve my footy and cricket skills.
Shylah - Daddy gives me cuddles, they are the best cuddles. He gives me big bear hugs, too. Specially in winter cold nights, I love being his bear-cub. He barely knows modern technology like Webex, not a computer person but he still helps me to do my Webex sessions at home and helps my school work. Thanks to his help and guidance I was, once a home learning hero too in school newsletter. My daddy is my hero, I love him sooo much.
Jasmine - He has been just like a dad to me since I was 3, the best step-dad ever!!
Darcy - My Dad is the best Dad in the world. He can make anything, plays with me, gives the best cuddles, jumps on the trampoline with me and is a nice person. I love him so much.

Jessie - My dad is a very special person to me because he always makes room for me and he plays with me all the time such as hide and seek, baking cookies with me, he made an exercise machine for my mum and me, watch movies together, he tucks me in every night, he plays badminton with me, we'll talk about weird stuff together, he'll help me through times like this and I tried to teach him how to play Minecraft (it didn't work).
Kayla - He makes me laugh everyday with his dad jokes. He is also a great problem solver.
Jacob - Grandpa is very special to me because he always has time for me. He teaches me how to make and build things with his special tools. We play in the park together and during lock down, grandpa built a big swing at his factory for me to put in our yard. Grandpa has also taught me how to ride my bike.
Harrison - My Dad supports me and my family with whatever we do. He helps build things around the house or will come up with a excellent solution to fix it! We have a mini skatepark in our backyard it would not be possible without him. My family and I are very thankful to have a great, cool and awesome Dad, nothing would be possible without him. My sister and I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for my caring Dad!
Troy - because he is very loving, he works very hard and didn't have much time off work.

Grace & Rose - Dad is special to us because he always makes us feel loved and cared for - ALWAYS. He is always doing activities with us and always looking for ways to make us happy. He is patient and kind and so much fun! This year has been hard on everyone, but being home with dad, who is always willing to help us with school work (or anything really), has still been awesome. Even though he has the worst dad jokes, he is still the best dad in the world! :)
