Special Education students enjoyed their Reward BBQ on Monday 21 September. The students effort and good behaviour over this past 5 weeks was rewarded with a BBQ, quizzes, games and fun photo presentation. Keep up the good effort, students!

Chickens

Last week we had to say good bye to our little chic’s ( that were not so little anymore ). The past 7 weeks have been a fantastic experience for all of our students but especially our Purple and Green classes who have been very interactive with them while learning about their life cycle and how to raise, care and house them. We did have a few tears when we had to say goodbye but they have all gone off to bigger and greener pastures.

Virtual Reality Grant

On the 7 September, Mrs Dickinson and myself attended The Central Coast Leagues Club to be presented with a cheque of $7000 from Club Grants. Our application was to purchase a Virtual Reality Kit. The kit will support our Community Access Program that has been restrained due to travel restrictions during Covid times. Our successful application was up against many other worthy community projects, so we feel very fortunate to have secured the grant. Our students will now have an ability to view and immerse themselves within many amazing places around the world.

We are very thankful for this grant and to the Central Coast Leagues Club for this wonderful opportunity. We hope that it will be up and running during Term 4 so that our students will be able to enjoy many wonderful experiences.
