HSIE
Congratulations to our Year 12 students on the successful completion of Trial HSC Exams and final assessment tasks for 2020. Students are now entering an important period of revision and reflection on past efforts. It is vital that students develop summaries, complete past HSC exam questions and seek feedback from their class teachers. The HSIE Faculty would like to congratulate the following students on their results this year;
Ancient History - Chloe Coates-Berry
Business Studies - Cynthia Li
Geography - Ainsley Symington
History Extension - Sarah Wade
Legal Studies - Thomas Whelan
Modern History - Harrison Neale
I would also like to pass on my thanks to the members of the HSIE Faculty for their expertise, professionalism and genuine care for students along the HSC journey – Mrs Julia Kostalas, Miss Cassandra McLennan, Mr Judd Newton, Mr Alex Rozario and Mrs Raegan Travica. Students may not be aware of the countless conversations we have had about their progress and welfare over the last two years. I am so very proud to call you my colleagues.
As one journey ends, another one begins...

Middle School
Henry Kendall High School’s Middle School has several budding Steven Spielbergs or Kathryn Bigelows in their midst as part of the Videos for Change program in 2020. Students have been exploring important social issues and creating 1 minute videos that promote awareness. Miss Sexty, Mr Withers and Mrs Le Page have been impressed with students’ efforts and we cannot wait to showcase students’ efforts in the near future.
Congratulation to our students for their creative interpretations of cells as part of the Investigation and Communication program. Mr Silver, Mr Banks and Mrs Martin were impressed by the creativity shown, as students developed a representation of a plant or animal cell using a range of mediums.
