Weird and Wonderful Wednesdays: Corpus Christi Spoonville & Art Day (www.corpuschristispoonville /artday)

Today we celebrated our final Weird and Wonderful Wednesday for the term with our www. CCK Spoonville and Art Day.

There was an array of fabulous art activities for the children to engage with and enjoy.  I must give a mention to our best look-alike. Can you guess who is who? One is our own Ivy from Year Prep and the other is world-famous Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo, known for her brilliantly colored self-portraits.

Well done Ivy!

Thanks so much to all children who uploaded their pieces of art onto their class Padlet. We certainly have some budding artists out there. Can't wait to set up our Spoonville display once all our children return, so make sure you bring them back!

Oh.. and thanks to Miss Nathalie for organising such a wonderful Wednesday and to   Mr Lane for the background tech work.

Years  Prep - 6  Learning Conferences

Our  Year Prep - 6 Learning Conferences (Parent/Teacher Interviews) will go ahead in the last week of Term 3 as follows:

Year Prep: Thursday 17th and Friday 18th September

Years 1/2: Monday 14th and Wednesday 16th September

Year 3/4 S: Monday 14th and Wednesday 16th September

Year 3/4 H: Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th September

Year 5/6: Monday 14th and Wednesday 16th September

Please make sure you book an appointment through www.schoolinterviews.com.au and use the event code of jx59u. Bookings are open.

Learning Conferences will be conducted online through Google Meet using your child's G-Suite account. The meeting code will be your child's student number, for example, 200568. Every child knows their student number as they use this to log into the Google Classroom.

Simply open Google Meet (through your child's account) at your interview time, enter the student number and your teacher will be waiting for you.

The days of the Learning Conferences are NOT School Closure days. Students will be set with independent work tasks and pre-recorded teaching sessions to be accessed as normal through their Google Classroom.

And while I think of it...  we will still have our Monday Morning Assembly next week as usual.

Have a wonderful week

Stay safe and God Bless

Anthony Hyde
